Still Morning on the River
Sunrise crests over the cliffs, illuminating the crimson walls. Soft clouds march in unison, slowly across the desert sky. The stillness of morning offers the reflective image of the canyon.
Symbolic, contemplative, and in memoriam, “Still Morning on the River” is both still and yet slowly moving like the passage of time. For the man, like all of us watching, it will always be still morning on the river.
