About the Artist
My work explores the relationship between light, atmosphere, and perception through oil painting. Influenced by both Impressionism and contemporary realism, I’m interested in creating images that feel immediately and deeply immersive. I strive to create work that comfortably sits where precision and painterly energy exist together.
I don’t see realism as an act of replication, but of transformation. The goal is not simply to depict a scene, but to distill the sensation of being there: the weight of light, the movement of air, the emotional charge carried by color and atmosphere. Through careful observation and layered paint handling, I aim to create works that feel vivid, resonant, and quietly cinematic.
