An homage study of early Photorealists' urban diner paintings.
Diner is an homage to the great Photorealists that inspired me. Works by Ralph Goings particularly struck me in my youth. This painting was a study of his subject matter and style, aiming to capture the nuance interplay between light, shadows, and reflection along glass and metal surfaces.
